This is my first car and I have owned it for 35 years. I was 13 when my Dad gave it to me and we did a restoration on it as a father and son project. When I turned 16, it was my daily driver. I drove it during high school and college and since then it has been in heated inside storage. I am the third owner of the car. My Dad purchased it from the Service Manager at Ray Fladaboe Lincoln Mercury in Long Beach, CA. It had been traded in there and the Service Manager bought it and used it as his daily driver. It has the original 239 CID Flathead V8 and Fordomatic Automatic Transmission and it runs great! During the long period of storage it was started regularly. In order to prepare the vehicle for sale I have had the following items done: New brakes including wheel cylinders Cooling system flush Tune Up Transmission Service New rear differential fluid New battery New rt front kingpin The ONLY things that don't work on this car are the gas gauge, the clock, the heater temperature control valve, and the radio. I am sure the sending unit is stuck because of the extended storage time. I kept this car for so long out of respect for my Father. He recently passed away and it is time for someone else to enjoy it.
