This auction is for a 1978 MG Midget with 80812 miles. I bought this to restore but really dont have the time or skill required to finish the job. It has many new parts and money invested. It has many new parts including: All 4 tires new clutch engine has less than 4,000 miles on rebuild new reverse lights and seals new tail lights and seals new license plate lights almost new carpet convertible top less than one year old new MG emblem almost new car cover 2 (I think) new front shocks..Maybe only one not certain new tie rod ends new side plugs new battery new trunk seal new owners manual parts book clutch hose and slave cylinder and more parts I am probably forgetting. It also comes with the side mirror, headlights, rear trunk rack, the original intake and exhaust manifolds, extra distributor, starter, hood, and some other parts that I will find as the auction moves ahead. Some of the extra parts may or not be good. I got them with the car. The engine in the car is fresh and starts and runs well. It has an aftermarket carb and intake (webber I think) , a Crane electric ignition, and a header. The engine sounds great. Gages work as they should. Tires are new. I bought the car from a lady from Florida that had owned it for around 15 years. It had been parked in a garage for the past few years before her husband decided to restore it for her. He ran out of money and the car was sold to me. I have reached a point where it is pretty much ready for the body to be painted. The body is seems very solid. It was painted about 3 years ago but was not a professional job. It needs to be painted and comes with enough Kirker white Acryl-glo acrylic enamel to paint the car. The body is in good shape and I think it would need little prep work. I have provided several pics so that you can look it over. The title is clear and ready to sign over to the new owner. Overall the car has had quite a bit of work completed and would be a great project for someone to finish and have a nice MG for a low price. The car has had a lot of work done but it is not perfect. I took several pics so that you can look it over and ask any questions you may have. The car is used and is sold asis\whereis with no warranty. You will need to pickup at my home is SW Virginia.
