1986 HONDA FOUR TRAX 250 ATV 4 WHEELER FOUR TRAX ATV 4 WHEELER THIS IS A 1986 HONDA FOUR TRAX 250. ITS I GOOD RUNNING CONDITION AND RIDES FINE. THE ENGINE RUNS FINE AND CRANKS RIGHT UP. IT DOES NOT SMOKE. THE GEARS CHANGE FINE. IT HAS A 6 SPEED TRANSMISSION.IT WOULD MAKE A GREAT 4 WHEELER FOR SOMEONE LOOKING FOR A DEPENDABLE ATV THAT IS NOT SHOWROOM COSMETIC CONDITION.THE BODY SHOWS NORMAL SCUFFS, SCRATCHES, CRACKS AND WEAR FOR AGE. It had a CDI ignition and a forward kick start mechanism. The engine had a compression ratio of 7.5 to 1.Body and Transmission The TRX 250 had a six-speed manual transmission. The vehicle had 4.3 inches of ground clearance and weighed 328 lbs. Its squat design gave it a body length of 71.9 inches and a width of 44.5 inches, and its wheelbase was 51 inches. This short, wide makeup allowed it to hug the ground during turns or under slippery conditions. Tires, Brakes and Suspension The front suspension consisted of double A-arms with Pro-Link progressive rate linkage.
