For sale is a used 2000 GMC 3500 Savana Cargo van with 191k miles. This van has been virtually unstoppable for the 8 years I've owned it, and is only for sale because I need to buy a truck with seats (1 kid, 1 on the way). The engine and transmission are both newer. Engine is a 5.7 V8 Vortec that's gotten its oil changes while I've owned it. Transmission shows no wear, slipping, grabbing, etc., and shifts beautifully. The fuel pump, power steering system, transmission cooling lines, radiator, and water pump have all been replaced. Tires have plenty of life left. The whole van is a little ragged, with typical GM issues like a couple broken/nonfunctioning door handles and a broken side door hinge, as well as a nonfunctioning turn signal. Front brakes were just done, battery is 2 months old. This truck is beat-up looking, but it's about the toughest vehicle I've ever owned. CD player, AC, power windows and locks. Includes a cool center console cabinet with a hanging file drawer in the bottom and storage space for a printer in the top, for the tradesman who wants to be able to print out an estimate or invoice on the spot. One more cool thing- this vehicle has an inverter hard-wired and enabled through a toggle switch on the dashboard, which in turn powers a 120-volt AC receptacle mounted to the cage above the center console. This has been very useful for charging phones and powering laptops and printers. This vehicle is listed locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction early.
