Vehicle Detail

**non-paying bidder forces re-list** 1973 Porsche 914 2.0 Car runs great, easily a daily driver. No rust in "hell hole", interior is in great condition. Small seperation of the stitching in the drivers set but very minor. This Porsche drives like a dream, steering and suspension as as they should be, brakes work well, no pulling, shifts smooth. Brand new Sony Stereo with Speakers mounted in brand new housings located in the proper place, No speaker holes were cut into the door panels. Tires are in great shape, plenty of tread on them. Recently replaced all hoses, plugs, wires, distributor rebuilt etc. Very nice car, no rust that I am aware of. Mechanic brought me in when car was being tuned up and showed my the underside and said the car was in fantastic shape. This car is not perfect however and does need the following: Drivers side window. I shut the door when it was half way down, and the glass shattered. I have seen replacement glass for appx 50 bucks on ebay. Also needs a new speedometer cable, previous owner didn't rout the line properly and it appears to have been melted by touching something in the engine area. Body is in great shape, very minor dings, chips etc, normal things you would find on a car this age. The rear fenders appear to have been repainted, badly, and not sure why as the car has no evidence of ever being in an accident. Hood needs a small amount of attention as it looks as if someone tried to do a touch up and did a horrible job. The car shines and is beautiful but up close you will see the minor flaws. Haven't driven this car yet without a thumbs up or "nice car" comment from someone. Also very minor oil drip. I believe, and I am not an expert, but I believe this may be from the valve covers. When the tune up was performed the valves were adjusted and seem to dribble after this was done, but again, I am no expert and it seems like a very minimal amount. I check the oil frequently and don't need to add oil very often. This car is absolutely fun to drive, only reason for the sale is simply I need the room in the garage, plus without air conditioning, she doesn't get driven in the summer too much and this car needs to be driven. I also installed the "appearance option" on the back, looks like a 911 panel, and put LED's behind it. Looks great!! Buyer of course is responsible for any and all shipping cost's, however, I will work with you and help in any way I can; delivering to shipping company etc.
