Vehicle Detail

I am offering my 1972 MGB for sale. 3 years ago the previous owner had the motor rebuilt, the transmission rebuilt, the convertible top replaced, new paint and had a new interior installed with a new armrest also. This car is very solid. Since I bought the car, I have rebuilt the rear end and replaced the thrust washers for the differential, installed a Weber Carburetor with manual choke for reliability (the original SU carbs, factory manifold, and factory air cleaner housings are included as are other original replacement parts and new parts listed below) and I have I replaced the head gasket with a Payen Head Gasket and all cylinders are within 5 pounds of one another when measured with a compression meter. The brakes have been serviced and the rear brakes were rebuilt when the axel half shafts were removed to rebuild the rear end. I have upgraded the coil to a Pertronix Flame Thrower and replaced the spark plugs. This car is so much fun to drive, especially in the mountains and in the city at night. It will be a great investment also. I am selling it because I need to purchase a long distance daily driver for myself to commute to a job out of town. I routinely take trips over 150 miles round trip with no issues. There is one issue with the car: The rear bumper needs work from where it rolled into a dumpster after being left out of gear with the parking brake not engaged. It was a very minor hit but needs slight repair, there are also a couple of nicks in the paint from garage storage (nothing other than the back needs anything but slight paint touch ups, the back needs slight repair but will not require any part replacement). Other than this there are no known issues. Buyer is responsible for scheduling pickup, delivery and shipping. Please email me with any questions and I will get back with you as soon as possible.I have thoroughly enjoyed this car and I know you will too. Included with this car: A set of original replacement gauges out of a 1971 MGBGT, same gauges as in the 1972 MGB, New brake pads, A complete set of new polyurethane suspension bushings for the front and back (one of the few remaining items to be redone on the car), Receipts for the items I have replaced since taking ownership, Chrome MG pancake style air filter housings for the original SU carbs (the factory original air filter housings are included also.
