Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on a Clean 2003 1/2 Ford Excursion Eddie Bauer (the best) that has been converted to burn any diesel, Bio-diesel or Straight Vegetable Oil. You can run all diesels, or any combination of "bio" or straight Veggie Oil. Save 10-'s of thousands of fuel dollars!! STRAIGHT VEGITABLE OIL: Please don’t mistake this for Bio-Diesel. Of course it can run on Bio, but then again ALL diesels can. "Bio" needs to be “made” each and every batch. Straight Veggie oil means the system is already installed to the truck so all you do is “filter” the veggie oil and run it straight. No mixing, cooking etc. It’s a two-tank system: The second tank is added to hold regular diesel. So you start and stop the car on regular diesel, once the oil is heated in about 3-5 minutes, you flip to tank switch to run on veggie oil. Then, when your about 3-4 miles to the house, to switch it back to regular diesel so the lines are filled with diesel over night. It’s all-automatic. It has two Fuel gages, one for diesel (about 20 gallons) and the second, stock tank, about 40 (maybe be 44-45, can't remember) gallons where you fill with veggie oil. It has an additional 20-gallon tank, so you can run veggie or you can run straight diesel in both tanks. The stock tank is used to hold veggie oil, the additional 20-gallon tank holds regular diesel. This complete, automatic system was purchased for $4500 from: http://www.goldenfuelsystems.com/ It cost an additional $1800 to install. So total we have about $6000 actual dollars in the Veggie system. It works fantastic! The engine actually runs better on veggie oil and you can hear it make less noise when running because I believe it is better “lubed”. We love these systems and we actually run two excursions on veggie oil. It's awesome to fill it up, put some extra boxes of oil in the trunk and drive anywhere free! I loved to drive my Excursion on Veggie Oil, but my kids have their own cars now so its time got me to get a sports car! I would suggest that this is one of the nicest looking Excursions in the Country. It, of course, has normal wear for its age, but I believe you simply won’t find another this clean or good looking anywhere. And, its ready run on veggie oil as diesel prices are expected to hit $4.25 a gallon THIS summer! I think the pictures speak for themselves; there is one small dented area, and a small scratch on rear door. The estimate was $225. These happened the first week I got it, but it was never bad enough where I wanted to get fixed. Please see pictures... Also, it has a rear entertainment system and DVD player for the kids. It has two tank filler tubes with caps, inside the rear tank hatch door. Nice and handy, but the picture didn't turn out well. It also has two individual fuel gages, one for stock tank (oil) and one for diesel tank (the photo has my finger in front of it, sorry.. it also has a vacuum gage to show you when your "Racor Oil filter" is getting dirty, it will draw a negative vacuum, so its time to change the filter. It also has a "Hot Fox" fuel pick up on the oil (stock) tank used it cold climates so it always can only pick up hot oil. Very nice feature. Oh, it has a remote alarm system too. And it has a keyless entry, so I leave it run while in a store, since its free (Yup, free oil) and come out and just enter the key code and drive away. I always park in the very front area feeling that in case of a fire, they will just break window and move it since its running...I've done this for years and years. But I digress, I only have one button, but, you can order the replacement button that is digital with a little display, and, you can remote start the car with it! So, when your almost ready in the morning, or after lunch on a hot day, hit the button a few minutes to heat or cool the car before you enter. Remote starting.... But to be clear, I lost the button when swimming.... so I have used the back up remote (and not used remote starting) for 5 years. If you forget to purge oil when you arrive, set emergency brake, pull out keys and lock doors, and of course switch it to diesel, and it will run for about 8 minutes and purge for you, then shut off. A super handy feature..... All that was about $600 bux too... It also has the trailer surge break installed, so if you pull a heavy trailer it applies the trailer breaks for you and is adjustable. It came with it, but I don’t ever pull anything except the veggie oil pick up trailer...BTW I may sell that entire system too.... It also has a Drivers side spot light, and a "Predator programmable Chip", which is programmed to "stock" since I never worried about mileage using veggie oil...I think its worth about $500?? Can't remember. It throws a code of check glow plug once in a while, but my mechanic says its fine, starts fine, so I have also used it to clear that code. Its great to have if you ever get an error code because you plug it in and diagnose yourself and that saves a trip to the mechanic. The things that seem to go wrong with diesels are the alternator and fuel pump. Thus, it has a new alternator from O' Reilly with a lifetime warranty, although I can't promise it will work in another state, I think it will. And I just put on a new fuel pump and filter in the Racor and she’s ready to roll. Kelly Blue Book WITHOUT the Veggie System is $14,200, not including all those extras.... $14,200 plus $6000 oil system is $20,200. These are realistic and NOT inflated values…so I started it at $16k...happy bidding and I promise, with 100% positive feedback, you will not be disappointed with this truck! Please feel free to call me with questions about this car. If your question is emailable, please email me at: flydoctor0014@ gmail “dot” com. Please do not call me with questions about running Veggie Oil or other systems. You can read that online. Mr. Hanson 281.883.93 two-zero. $500 due a close of auction...the rest must be cash or wired...no cashiers check accepted (thanks to those Nigerian scammers)
