1968 Barracuda Fastback 318 engine The odometer says 51, 216 miles, but I assume it is really 151, 216. I received this car in January of 2002 when my oldest friend died. I have never driven it. It has been in a garage since then. It had bodywork done and a new paint job several years ago. The front bumper was removed and rechromed, and is still wrapped in paper . The glass is all intact....the interior is quite good--I believe the seam on the top edge of the drivers seat is ripped...and the head liner needs repair. It is missing the handle for the small window on the driver's side. It has a 318 engine...it has been sitting too long---it starts but dies, starts and dies.... The back bumper has dings and dents...this is not "showroom condition" ....it needs TLC I want to sell this car before it begins to deteriorate...it deserves someone who will restore it. It was dearly loved by my old friend, and I just cannot bring myself to drive it. I have taken as many pictures as I could in the garage. I don't know what I should be putting in this description---I will gladly answer any questions I can from anyone interested. Please email with any questions. I will accept PayPal for the deposit, but the balance needs to be paid in a bank-to-bank deposit---PayPal just charges too much. The paint and body work was done by a man here in Pueblo that works on classic cars--as I recall he was a member of an Oldsmobile Club....so, no, not a brand name shop--but a lovely job. As far as I know, the car hasn't been in an accident--I know for sure it hasn't been in one in 20 years..but my friend who owned it was a mechanic and knew what to look for when he bought it....no dents--the body is very nice...the back bumper has little dings...and I think there are two scuffs in the paint that need to be buffed--the hazards of being parked in a garage for years... Also--I forgot, it does have a car cover--just one of those light ones- --the garage is dark so I had to use lights to try and get clear pictures. The shifter is on the steering column...as for the brakes, I'm sorry, I don't know...hopefully I can get a friend to come over and tell me. I took several pictures of the trunk--I don't see any rust---it looks pretty clean---the undercarriage, well, I don't see rust, but I don't know what I'm looking for. I just assumed when it was painted a few years back it was taken care of---I had the driver's front quarter panel replaced when it was painted because of rust in the wheel well. The interior looks pretty darn good---the only problems I see:The passenger rear panel below the door has obviously been messed with and has slipped or is in otherwise shaky shape---the headliner has popped the stitching on a seam--and the top outside corners of the two front seats--where everyone grabs to flop the seat forward--has split stitching and possible damage to the fabric--- The back seat looks fabulous, as does the front seat, truly, and the hatchback part looks perfect---probably redone by a previous owner---The dashboard does have a crack--I remember we tried to fix it 20 years ago, didn't work--it has a dashboard cover over it. Its not perfect by any stretch, but the interior is in remarkable condition..
