This is a true 1969 442 convertible. This isn't some "clone" or "tribute" this is the real deal! These 69 442's are getting harder and harder everyday to find, and it being a convertible, it is rare as hens teeth. This is a factory 4 speed, and had factory A/C that was removed. This 442 is a blast to drive, and I get so many waves and thumbs up, that part of me makes me want to keep the car.This 442 just got out of the paint booth about 2 weeks ago, and the paint looks great. The glass and chrome are all in great shape. The interior is mostly original and looks very good for its age. Top works up and down very well, and it shifts and drives very smoothly. I drove this 442 to a couple of car shows and car corrals and it drew major attention. This is a very nice driver, and will be the pride of your local car show. It is not some trailer queen or national show winner. If you are like I am, I want to hop in it and drive the wheels off of it.As you can see in the pictures, the original wheels are in the truck, and they are in very nice condition. The original 8-track player is there also. I am not sure about matching numbers, but from what we have seen it appears to be the original block and heads. Do yourself a favor and break away from the mold of classics and spoil yourself with this 442. Less than 2k convertible 4 speeds were ever made, no telling on how many are really left.
