1990 Ford Ranger XLT Tires are brand new 2 wheel Drive 2.3 liter motor needs transmission work This has been my work truck for over 2 years and has been very dependable. Actual Mileage is unknown. It only has a 5 digit odometer, so 229245 is my best guess. I have not had to repair many things on it. A few weeks ago, something happened with the transmission. It seems to be stuck between gears or something. The stick moves into each one fine, but when you let off the clutch, it feels like something is holding it down. I am assuming the transmission needs to be dropped and repaired or replaced. The body is pretty ugly, but the rust is only one the surface and could be salvaged. I started to work on it, but when the transmission died, I never messed with it again. The tires were just replaced the week before it died. The engine runs great and I was getting about 22 mpg around town before the transmission went out. Please Let me know if you have any questions. Truck will need to be towed. Local pickup/cash only.
