Failed Smog Emissions Test on 05-30-2012. The 2 Problematic Smog readings are HC which is 626 with a limit of 67 at 25 MPH and CO which is 10.85 with a limit of 0.39 at 25 MPH. Both these 25 MPH Results are worse than the 15 MPH Results. It is running rich - too much Gas and not enough Air - Mixture. When I asked George at G&N http://www.yelp.com/biz/g-and-n-motors-mbz-certified-mercedes-benz-los-angeles who didn t do the Smog about the Results I was Suprised that the First thing he asked me was what Gas it had. I said 87 Shell, He said put Chevron 91 in it and come back and He ll adjust the Mixture. I d prefer to sell it with a Smog but don t like that Smog results can be altered by something as Trivial as Gas Octane so may not. Failed Functional Check as Ignition Timing is 8 BTDC. Passed Visual. As Stated in the eBay Title the Car Drives Fine without any Problems at all. . I d Prefer Everyone that Bids on it to Inspect it first even though I haven t done so with any of the Cars I ve won on eBay. Most of the time but not always it s worked out Fine. Drivers front and rear turn signals come on when key is turned off so I ve been disconecting a battery terminal to stop the battery going flat. Dear bayofhonesty, FYI, turn your light swith to the right and the lights won't come on when the ignition is off. It's a European safety thing for if you break down on the side of the road. It'll work both sides, one at a time, but only when the ignition is off. Diehard battery 2/2011 I got a used starter motor for it (included, not Installed) as sometimes the starter motor in it doesn t catch the first or second time you try to start it.
