Vehicle Detail
Up for NO-RESERVE auction, is this clean 1995 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo. Before reading anything else, read the following three facts (high-quality pictures below): 1.) The engine was replaced in the late 1990s with a brand-new (that's ZERO miles) engine from Japan (JDM) by the original owner. He didn't really do it for any perceived performance benefit, but rather because he had cooked the original engine, and nobody in the states had a brand new one. The mileage on the engine is actually around 58,000, as it was replaced in the when the car had only 50,000 miles on it.2.) The Stillen front and side body kit was installed after the original front fascia was smashed by a large groundhog. It's not some boy-racer attempt. The paint on the front piece was not done well, and is chipping (disappointing because it was done by a large local shop). However, the original factory pearl white paint on the rest of the car is in great shape.3.) The car is just on its third owner. The first two owners were executives, and the current owner is a woman in her 50s (my mother, actually). This Z has not been abused. One of the few Twin Turbo Zs left that hasn't been mechanically modified. It's reliable for someone who doesn't want more than the factory 300hp, or it's a blank canvas for someone who does. The Good: -Engine runs great and turbos still spool up nicely. -Clutch doesn't slip -Always synthetic oil, and regular changes. -Never driven in the winter/salt -Suspension Sport/Touring modes still function properly at the flick of a switch (as well as the "Super HICAS" steering) -All switches/electronics work -A/C blows cold and climate control works great -Decent tires -Factory paint still looks good The Not-So-Good: -Chips on front fascia -small, shallow dent on driver's door (see pic) -Driver's seat stitching has separated (not really "torn") -Power steering pump whines at very low speed (like parallel parking speed) BID TO WIN--THIS IS A NO-RESERVE AUCTION, or use the BUY-IT-NOW option. On May-26-12 at 19:36:39 PDT, seller added the following information: I wasn't aware that the Buy-It-Now option vanishes when the first bid is placed. Just an FYI.
