Recently completed 1966 volkswagen beetle. The engine is newly rebuilt using a vw case and heads, engle cam, 44mm weber idf carburetors, and 94mm Mahle pistons and cylinders making it a 1914cc. Exhaust systen is a tri-mil two tip finished in ceramic. The engine sounds good. The transmission is a rebuilt four speed vw. The brake system is completly replaced with all new lines (steel and rubber), new master cylinder, new wheel cylinders, new shoes, springs, retainers and adjusters. The paint is less than a year old bahama blue enamel. Fuel tank is stock style finished in silver hammertone. The bumpers and bumper brackets are new and look very nice. The sliding sunroof is a grafted Britax and works great. The interior is new Scat lowback seats in white with a matching rear seat, new black carpet and headliner. The tachometer is from a Porsche 914 and the speedo from a Mack. The entire auto was very well insulated before the installation of the interior and the drive is very quiet with little outside noise. Every piece of window and door rubber has been replaced with new WCM material. The vintage Nardi is a gift from my father and not included in the sale. The vw shop near me sells a wheel similar and I will get one and install it. the radio hole is filled by a good sounding sony cd player just not in the pics. The wheels are the Empi version of the speedwell BRM. The tires are new 185/65/15 on front and 215/65/15 rear. Both headlights and tailights are new and of good quality and operate properly. All of the parts that I wrote of as new are new out of the box and the completed car has less than 71 miles on it. The car can be driven daily with assured reliability What the car needs is the horn grilles and windshield wiper arms. I will try to get to that this week. The reserve price is well below the value of the car and is much less than what I have into it.
