1978 Pontiac Trans Am. 400 cubic inch pontiac engine with 6X heads, new rebuilt quadrajet carburetor, stainless exhaust headers and custom stainless exhaust. Recently rebuilt 3 speed automatic 350 transmission. New 342 rear end gear. I bought this car for my son and I to rebuild as a father and son project. We bought the car 5 years ago in rough but running condition and rebuilt it to what you see now. We removed the interior and completely replaced all the upholstery, carpet, dash, radio, steering wheel,weather stripping and all the plastic parts. We replaced the carburetor with a rebuilt 4 barrel quadrajet. Removed and replaced the old exhaust system with stainless hooker headers and custom stainless exhaust with flowmaster mufflers. Removed and replaced old power steering pump. The radio is an am/fm cassette player with auxillary input jack. The car exterior was completely sanded with rust treated and repainted and stickers applied to look completely original. This car runs great and has had no smokers in it. It has power windows, power locks, tilt steering, and cruise control that is not hooked up, but is existing. Air conditioner and heater works great.
