Hot Rod 72 911 RS Clone/Red Carrera Script, 3 years ago this 911 was stripped to bare steel, placed on a rotisserie, all under coating and sound deadening material was removed. Carrera rear flares were butt welded in. During the rebuild weight saving was a primary concern. The duck tail is steel framed fiberglass, the front bumper is fiberglass, all other body panels are steel. With driver and 1/2 tank of fuel the car weighs 2200 lbs. The mileage on the original tub was 56K the SC engine had 87K on the odometer when it had a top overhaul with new valves and guides and Carrera tensioners as well as new Sachs clutch kit.(The odometer, from another car reads 111K) Minimal electrical system: headlights, tail/brake lights.wipers, gauges, if it wasnt needed it was removed. It does have: SC front suspension& aluminum cross member, Bilstein shocks, Lowering bump steer spacers, Teflon/Stainless brake lines,Brake cooling ducts, Welded front strut brace, 22mm front & 28mm rear torsion bars, Short shift kit&Momo wheel, Adjustable shift light, Light weight seats(no sliders), Triangulated harness bar, Rear seat delete welded panel, 5pt harness, Aluminum rear trailing arms, 3 liter SC engine, Carrera tensioners, external oil cooler(trombone), MSD ignition and coil, Weber IDA's,(with extra chokes and jets),Fuel prseeure gauge and regulator,RS style door panels, Swepco trans fluid in the SC 915 gear box, Pro-speed 683 brake fluid, Headers& glass packs, SC front and rear sway bars, BBS wheels and Bridgstone Potenza tires. Extra torsion bars, Tail light assemblies plus various manuals & other misc items. It's fast, handles like a go-kart and corners like it's on rails, doesnt leak or burn any oil. Upshifts and down shifts without synchro issues.
