1939 Buick Other

This is an extremely rare Buick Opera coupe, one of the most stylish Buicks of the Era. Buicks were already renown for its styling, luxury and quality, the 1939 Buicks took it to another level. Beautiful Art Deco style abounds with sleek Aero design. It features a straight 8 cylinder engine with a 3 speed transmission. It is powerful, yet smooth. This example is a mostly original car that has simply been maintained through the years. Its long time owner passed away a few years back and it is being sold by the family. the last owner had it for over 40 years along with several other classic cars. He was a well known personality around Oklahoma, and the car was seen in many parades over the years. Before being put up for sale, we have had the car serviced by the local classic car shop that took care of the car for many years, so it starts, runs and stops just as it should. While, not a perfect example, it none the less is a good well maintained example of the Marque. The small chips, scratches and dings do not jump out at you, and it looks impressive in person. I have been advised by the shop, that due to the original nature & age of the suspension, the rubber bushings will need to be replaced. Other than that it should perform mechanically as expected.
