Up for bid is a nice 1966 Dodge Charger 383 with a factory a833 4 speed with power steering. This is a number matching car and is all original, down to the gear shift ball, with the exception of the exterior color. This Charger still has the Certicard and holder on the inside of the radiator support. The rearend is a true positive traction with 3:23 gears.The car was originally a light yellow, but when it was redone I painted it a 1966 Dodge Maroon. I just could not bring myself to put it back yellow. The mileage of 70,000 I sincerely believe it to be actual. The Charger was taken apart in late 2010, was painted and all new interior. The seats were redone along with new seat foam, carpet and glove box. The heater was removed, cleaned and a new core was installed. At this time all the wiring was gone thru and all conectors were cleaned and wiring was checked by color code and gage to factory specifications. There was a new Power Pac installed and the Electroluminescent dash works fine. Also at this time the mechanical 5 volt voltage limiter was removed and was replaced with a transistorzed one, to insure that the 3 gauges (oil, temp and fuel) received the exact voltage. Also at this time the gauges were rebuilt and re-wraped with glass insulated NiChrome wire and all three were then calibrated. All the brakes are new, tires are also new. The windshield was replaced new and all the rubber around windows and doors were replaced. Both bumpers were replated as well and the chrome around headlights and all the chrome around the tail lights. The tail light lens was replaced with a new one at a cost of $500.00, just for the lens alone. Head light motors have new bushings. The engine was taken apart and bored .030 over and the crank was turned .010 under. all the pistons are new along with recondition rods. A new cam and chain was then put in and the lift and duration is to Chrysler specifications to insure good milage and driveability, while still retaining the 325 HP. Clutch and pressure plate are new and a resurfaced flywheel. The floors as well as the trunk floor are all very solid.. The sheet metal is also all solid and there is no filler. This Charger runs and drives great, very smooth and quite with absolutely no rattles. Just the rumble of the exhaust at the rear. I am only putting on 24 pictures. The winnng bidder will receive a flash drive with approx. 60 pictures showing all that was done during the entire rebuild. I am sure that I have forgot to mention all that was done on here, but the pictures will verify all that was done. The reserve is set low.
