Because of the amount of interest, we have relisted our 1928 Ford Model A Briggs Fordor 4-Door Leatherback sedan 1928 was the first year of production of the Model A, there are not many 1928 Briggs Fordor Leatherbacks in this condition. This car has engine number A468626 - September 28 1928 build date (Atlanta). Body color is Andalusite Blue, Window and molding trim is Niagara Blue. We have owned this car about 10 years, the body may have been repainted and matches the original shown under the hood. The exterior paint is in good condition (within a few feet) other than the exceptions listed below. The black leather top had been professionally installed before we purchased as the original was destroyed during an open transport. The interior upholstery may be original; it is the right material for a car of this age and mileage, good condition other than driver's side edge as shown. The following repairs/upgrades have been done within the past few years: •New radiator •New Coil and Points •New Wiring Harness•New Parking Brake Handle •New front floor mat•Engine repainted with FORD Green engine paintThe black and white photo was taken when the car was used at our son’s wedding last September. The car starts right up and drives down the road, brakes are good and has aftermarket turn light indicators. There are minor paint scratches around hood cowl from opening and closing (see old engine photos) and a few small (1”) bubbles on the top of cowl hood over the engine. A magnet over the surface did not show any prior rust-through. Very nice car, above average, always stored inside, no strong smells or leaks. Clear Iowa title with current licensing.
