This is a very clean 1977 Super Beetle Convertible. It was owned by one family in Truckee California from 1977 to 2001, we are the second owners. It has never been wrecked or abused. It runs and drives great. No mechanical issues known, all electrical components work, newer interior, newer tires, new suspension, new fuel injectors and fuel pump, new rubber seals all around, new drive axles, no rust. The pan is epoxy coated and under coated. The transmission was professionaly rebuilt and shifts very smooth. New turn signal and wiper levers on the steering column. The steering rack was reconditioned when the suspension was replaced, it steers and drives better than new. The top seals nicely and is in very good condition. This car is a blast to drive, gets lots of attention and friendly waves everywhere it goes. It is a 40 year old car and will have some quirks. The paint is shiny, fairly new and solid but has some orange peel in spots and is by no means perfect; I would call it a 10 foot paint job. The odometer reads 67k miles but does not work correctly, the previous owner said she only drove it in the summer and we have rarely driven it so I assume that mileage is close to that. The original engine was rebuilt and it now has about 10,000 miles on the rebuilt engine. The original fuel injection system is still in place, the catalytic converter is still in place. The car is very free of rust. The car can be viewed and test driven in Boise ID.
