1989 FORD MUSTANG LX-DART 347-TURBO-530+RWH Up for sale is a car that is ready to run at the dragstrip and is also street legal! This car was featured on Speed Chanel's "Pass Time" in 2008. It has a BRAND NEW MOTOR with less than 150 miles on it!! It was tuned at HP PERFORMANCE and made 4 test passes at the track last fall. This car ran 10.30's on the previous stock block and 17lbs of boost.New Block: Dart 302 SHP, Stroker Kit: 347 balanced assembly by Skip White Performance, Heads: Pro Comp 210cc-good for .700 lift, Turbo: HP Performance, Transmission: Race-prepped AOD with Lentech transbrake-Art Carr hardened input shaft-Precision Industries converter.Power: 530-560 RWHP on 12.5 psi with race tune. Drivers seat harness is less than 2 years old. Shift light is currently disconnected. Boost and A/F gauge on pillar, Engine and trans temp gauges in console, along with water pump and fan switches.The body has no rust on it, but does have small dent on drivers door and one on roof by the drivers door. There is some chipped paint behind rear tires and a key-scratch down the right side. I was planning to paint the car, but didn't get around to it. The car has a full interior and the electric windows/mirrors and passenger pwr doorlock still works. This car is street-legal, but is really designed for the strip. It has alot of potential and doesn't need anything mechanically.
