Vehicle Detail
Van runs and drives ok but if I were to keep it I would repair or replace the engine. I'm not entirely sure what is wrong with it but it makes a repetitive clicking noise while running. The noise started over the winter and I put it in storage at that time, figuring if I continued to drive it before figuring out what was wrong it would get worse; and I figured I would replace the engine this summer. The van got this odor to it while it sat in storage over the winter. It never smelled until then, and I dont know what the smell is but I doubt you wont notice. I now have a new van and no longer have the desire or the money to fix this one. There is some lines of white paint along the passenger side of the vehicle (from another car driving up against the side). There is also a large dent to the driverside front end of the car above the headlight. (I think, if I remember correctly, that was from driving a little too far into my garage and hitting a table that was at the end of the garage). Van has 8 passenger seating, 2 bucket seats in the front, and 2 rows of 3 seats in the back. The rear has it's own temperature controls, and the windows pop out to open, rather than sliding down. There are 2 sliding doors to let the passengers in the back in and out, 1 of which is an automatic door (you just push the button and it opens up). Hatch opens up in the rear of the van and has plently of space, as it is an extended van. All of the rear seats come out if you need to use the van for hauling anything. The seats are all in good condition, with virtually no wear,, the carpet is another story, it has multiple stains in the front seat. The heat is HOT. I can't seem to remember but I'm pretty sure the air could be recharged. As far as I remember, the last time I used it it blew really strong but wasn't very cool.On May-06-12 at 15:46:43 PDT, seller added the following information: I took the van for a short drive to the gas station yesterday, and it needed to be jumped prior to starting. Once it started I realized that no light or anything were left on so, I assume it needs a new battery. Also, as for the odor in the car I had rented a carpet shampooer for my house yesterday. After I was done inside, I decided to use the upholstery tool to shampoo the carpet in the van and the odor is gone! Just went in there to make sure, and it still smells clean inside so whatever the smell was the shampooer sucked it all out.
