1987 Mercedes-Benz 300SDL Up for sale is a rare 1987 Mercedes 300SDL in great condition. These cars are becoming harder and harder to find in such good condition and with low miles. This car has the great straight 6-cylinder turbocharged engine, that runs smooth and gets great fuel economy. This was my daily driver to work, 7mi one way. Gets very satisfying fuel economy, especially with the fuel prices right now. Car was very well maintained and I hope the new owner will take good care of it also. It had oil changes very 2.5k miles. Recent services were done a few weeks ago, which include: engine oil change, oil filter, air filter, primary and secondary fuel filter, A/C check( blows icy cold air), lower ball joints, truck rods, steering shock. Back in December the car got new brake pads and rotors as well as new tires. The interior of the car is in very great shape. All carpets are soft and clean, original floor mats are included. Car was tinted prior to my purchase and it serves well in California during summer. Has original radio. All basic option that car comes with work well including the central lock system, all power windows, power sunroof, cruise control, climate control and the auto function, all lights and gauges. Exterior of the car is also in great shape, paint is very shiny and glossy, no fading. Has minor scratches and imperfections. Tires have a lot of life left on them, original 15" chrome rims. Car also has original undercarriage covers. This is one great ride, drives very smooth on the road. Goes straight and does not pull to sides, feels firm on the road. New Michelin spare tire. Fees are up to date, registered till April 2013. Has more than enough leg room for the passenger in the back. Perfect car for long road trips. I would like to explain the reason why the car has a salvage title. It was not involved in any accidents and did NOT have any body or frame work done. It got a bent passenger fender and the insurance paid out for the new fender that was installed by the dealer with the Mercedes logo instead of the vin number sticker. The hood, left fender, trunk lid and all doors have the original matching vin number stickers that identify each original part matching the cars vin number. It was also donated and sold at an insurance auction. Car is being sold as is where is. Seller is responsible for pick up of the car within 14 business days of auction end, full payment is due within 7 days of auction end. I can assist in shipping the car.
