This is a 2000 SLK230 with a Clean Title - California Registration good thru October 2012. Damage to right front fender, headlight, bumper, rear right quarter and taillight. Air Bags did not deploy. Top works great. Interior is nice, could use a cleaning, no rips or tears, the mirror adjustment has dropped inside the console. - some peeling of finish on console and glove box does not stay latched. The rest of the body is pretty straight and shines, minor scratches and tiny chips on hood - one small scratch with slight dimple on right side of top - seen in photo between side window and back window. Runs good, has a wobble in right front wheel. I put the camera under/inside of wheel area and took photos - I don't know what I am looking at but I can't really see what is bent or out of whack to cause the wobble. The car drives and I have posted some YouTube links of the wheel in motion. I believe that the car should be trailered, I would not suggest driving it at high speeds or for a distance until whatever is making it wobble is checked out or repaired. The car belongs to my next door neighbor who was the driver in the accident. He only had insurance to cover the other car. No job, no money to have the car repaired and just received notice that his license is suspended. So the car must go. This is a great opportunity for someone who knows how to make the repair themselves. The Vehicle History Report shows no accident because there was no insurance claim. The car has been garaged since the December accident with a trickle charger attached. It starts right up. Please don't bid if you do not plan on following thru with the purchase.
