Vehicle Detail
I just picked this truck up in Central California from a farmer that was the second owner. His wife gave me pictures from 1998 when he "fixed it up", before and after (that meant he put a new coat of primer on it!) The truck has a 223 six with a 3 speed on the column. Brakes work, transmission and clutch work fine, engine runs good. Still has the original oil bath air cleaner. The tires are almost new and the truck has the original wheels and hub caps. Even has a spare wheel! The front bumper has a little bend in it but I threw a spare straight one in the bed. All the glass is good except the windshield has a crack. Did I mention NO RUST! I even pulled up the original floor mat and looked under it to see if I could find any rust. Just a little surface rust was there. The cab supports are solid and the roof is perfect. The tailgate (rare) is on and about an 8 out of 10 condition. There is a little dent at the lower bottom of the right front fender (see pictures) and the back of the cab is a little pushed in b ut since it's single wall, should be easy to fix. I tried to photograph it but it is so minor I couldn't get it to show. Don't miss your chance to grab a straight, rust free, California raised, shortbed unibody. These are getting harder and harder to find. The title is clear and currently non-op in CA. I have the pink and there are no games with the title. This would a great daily driver or a great foundation for a restoration or a hot rod. I buy, sell, and restore these trucks so you can be sure when I tell you the condition I know what I'm talking about. If I didn't already have a 61 uni, a 66, and a 64, I would keep it. It's that nice! The car is in Sacramento, CA. Shipping will be the responsibility of the new owner. NO RESERVE Call me if you have additional questions. I have more photos and would be glad to send them via e-mail. text me or ask via e-bay and provide me with your e-mail address.2. I disconnected the fuel line at the gas tank to start the engine due to bad gas in the gas tank. The engine runs fine on new gas but like any vehicle that has not been driven much over the last 10 years, it could use a tune up.3. While the truck runs, stops, and moves well, it is old. I would not trust driving it long distances until you got it home and went through and checked things like belts, hoses, and loose parts, etc.4. There is a small crease on the driver door that I did not notice before. very minor bunt wanted you to know.4. feel free to ask more questions.
