This is an incredible 1986 Mercedes 560SL Roadster. This Mercedes 560SL Roadster is finished in beautiful Black Exterior over Charcoal Black Leather Interior with Wood Trim Accents. THE HISTORY The Mercedes 560SL Roadster shows only 82,702 miles on the odometer. The VIN is WDBBA48D4GA054070. It was sold Brand New by Autohaus Mercedes Benz in Pompano Beach Florida on September 30th of 1986. This original owner lived in Boca Raton Florida, a very wealthy area. This owner kept this 560SL Roadster normally serviced at Autohaus Mercedes Benz and we have the stamped service booklet. After enjoying this 560SL Roadster for about seventeen years (long term ownership!!!), on April 11th of 2003, this original owner sold this 560SL to the second owner with just 71,032 miles on the odometer. This second owner lived in Hallandale Beach Florida, a very quiet area. This second owner was a service customer of our service center and kept this 560SL properly maintained with us. After enjoying this 560SL for about nine years, this second owner offered us the oppurtunity to purchase this 560SL Roadster from her, which we did, and we are now proud to offer it for sale here on eBay. THE CONDITION This is a wonderful example of a two owner, original paint, no accident, well serviced, unrestored, unmolested, ready to drive 560SL. This is NOT a 100 point show winner or a museum quality vehicle.... but it is a great option to start with for a concours restoration or a perfect choice to use for a very nice driver. A vehicle is only original once, and this is 100% original which is very hard to find in this style SL. These are going up in value every day. The overall exterior condition of the vehicle is very good. The vehicle looks absolutly great for its age and mileage although some chips/scuffs/scratches are evident here and there. A few small spots of corrosion exist as well. The paint is deep and glossy. The interior shows only little wear. The leather looks very clean and is free of any tears. The carpeting is plush. The dash and door panels are in great shape. The wood on the center console is delaminating and flaking. The sunvisor flaps are broken off. The original Becker radio works perfectly. The A/C works properly also. The soft top was replaced with a Kal Glas (the correct and more expensive choice) about 6 months ago. The hardtop is in great shape. Some of the rims have some minor curb rash. The tires on this Mercedes are Toyo Proxes TPT's with a good amount of tread life left but they are showing signs of dry cracking from not being used. I have the owners manuals with partially stamped service booklet, the original purchase invoice (partially faded), and the carpet floormats. You also get the hardtop stand and the hardtop.
