Transmission Problem. A Month ago it had trouble starting. I removed the spark plugs. They were black and needed replacing so I replaced them, it started straight away. I needed a SMOG so got a Smog Station to test it without it being a smog so it has not failed a smog. It was running rich. As it is Injected I didn t know how to make it leaner so on Mon 04/16 I went and asked George at G&N. He told me it was still an adjusting screw and it is on the fuel distributor. As it was having trouble starting again I replaced the Blackened spark plugs and it started straight away. On the way home I had to keep the revs up to prevent it stalling. I was shifting between drive and neutral in traffic(only into drive when the revs died down). Smoke started coming out and a knock started. I stopped Immediatley, opened the hood and saw the smoke was coming from the Transmission. The Transmission still had all it s fluid. After it cooled down it wouldn t restart. I replaced the Blackend Spark Plugs again and it still wouldn t start. I had it towed. I d Prefer Everyone that Bids on it to Inspect it first even though I haven t done so with any of the Cars I ve won on eBay. Most of the time it s worked out Fine. I have Bought a Car and other things off eBay Liars before, won t be Lying or Forgetting any Faults Myself. The 2012 Registration Sticker Pictured was not from this car and has been removed. I ve paid the Registration but it needs to pass smog before the Sticker with be given. Drivers window doesn t go all the way up, cardboard is taped to the top. 3 side windows have 5% tint DUCK taped onto the inside of them. Drivers front and rear turn signals come on when key is turned off so I ve been disconecting a battery terminal to stop the battery going flat. Los Angeles, CA 90004. I was going to paint it and removed The Mercedes badges, both still fine, the 500SEC got a bit bent and when I tried to straighten the chrome strip from the trunk it broke but is not completly in half. New fuel filter.
