Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE You are bidding on an extremely nice 1941 Ford Business Coupe with only 13,500 miles since the build. This Street Rod has a 350 Cubic Inch Chevy V8 coupled to a 350 turbo transmission providing smooth shifting and driving pleasure. The front suspension is Mustang II with disk brakes and the rear differential is Chevy with drum brakes and we think around 3:50 gears. This is a Business Coupe and therefore does not have a back seat. The rear area is finished nicely with upholstered quarter panels, rear area and package tray. If one wanted, it would be very easy to add a rear seat. The front seat is stock that has been rebuilt and reupholstered. The trunk is fully upholstered. The dash has aftermarket instruments and all work but I recommend having the speedometer calibrated, the radio is am/fm/cd/mp3, the shifter is B&M. The tires are Cooper big and little combination on chrome rally wheels with spinner center caps. The paint and body are in excellent condition. I could only find one or two small chips in addition to a very small blemish on the lower right trunk. The owner had intended to have the two tone paint job finished with some pinstripes but never got around to it. The bumper chrome is excellent, the grill lower section is aftermarket and in excellent condition, the grill center section is original and has some pitting but still looks good for a driver. I could not find any cracks in the grill. Left Door window has a crack, see arrow in picture; right door has some scratches, see arrow in picture. LF turn signal lens has a stress crack, must look closely to see. This car was built to be driven and the owner drove it every day. It is very reliable, drives nice, and can cruise at 65mph all day long. The California registration and license is current through June 2012; the car is not on a non-op status. Due to the owner’s illness, the car sat for several months resulting in a dead battery. I installed a new deep cycle battery and cleaned the cables; the battery resides in the trunk.
