2008 Toyota Yaris 3 door hatchback. Manual Transmission. Approximately 40,500 miles. Remaining factory warranty, fuel efficient, reliable/dependable, and low maintenance: An excellent small car! Would keep this vehicle if possible. The vehicle is easy in-and-out for persons, and the five (5) speed manual transmission makes it very zippy (reports are that the automatic transmission makes for sluggish performance). The vehicle also cruises down the highway nicely -- even at speeds around 85MPH. Excellent fuel mileage: see ratings. Experience averages about 35MPG all around. Vehicle well cared for: Toyota dealer receipts available, and some others. The vehicle is surprisingly roomy for driver and passengers. Rear seats fold down for hauling more cargo, and there is additional cargo storage via the Thule rack and enclosed Thule SideKick carrier, or in "cubby holes" under the deck. Lots of cabin "cubby holes" / glove boxes and beverage holders. AM/FM/ CD stereo system, with WMA/MP3 capability, and an auxiliary jack for media input. Vehicle was purchased for highway travel to and from clients. Vehicle's miles are largely highway-miles. Front seats are surprisingly ergonomic and comfortable for long distance treks, contra many domestic and even foreign vehicles in the same class. The Vehicle has also made one trip from Denver to California, and back again; one trip from Denver to Oklahoma City, and back again; and two trips from California to New Mexico, and back again -- in addition to lots of travel up and down I-25 from Fort Collins to Colorado Springs. The car is in Colorado. Some unique, differentiating options / aspects of this vehicle's specifications are as follow: Exterior Color: Black & Sand Pearl (this paint has iridescent-like small metallic flecks in it); Interior Color: Patterned / textured Charcoal Black and Gray Interior; Mileage: Approximately 40,500 (changes with test drives, etc.); Remaining Factory Warranty; Highway Miles Car (mostly long distance and highway miles since purchased); No accidents; All service up to date; Garaged, Exceedingly Clean Exterior and Interior (very, very few and very minor dimples/dings, scuffs, road chips, and top-coat scratches -- all very minimal considering the 40,500 miles!); Vehicle Fully Inspected by Toyota at about 40,400 miles, and Toyota service adviser offered to be a reference for the vehicle when he was told it was being sold; BRAND NEW Toyota-recommended and installed TIRES (Firestone) and wheel alignment (did not need an alignment, but was free with tire install); This cost about $400.00 when installed at about 40,450 miles; Non-Smoking Car; 5-Speed Manual Transmission (better performance and "spunk"); K&N High Performance Washable/Reusable Air Filter (supposedly adds a bit of horsepower, which it seems to); Two(2)-owner vehicle (owned since about 20,000 miles -- no reliability issues whatsoever); [The "report" above says 3 owners -- apparently the dealership I bought it from is being counted as an "owner"] Cruise Control: This was approximately a $500.00 option to add at the time installed; "Clear Bra" Paint Protection System ("full vehicle system", i.e. not just on front of vehicle, but installed in several places around car -- looks like it was installed at dealer before initial delivery). This was approximately a $700.00 dealer option when installed (per Toyota); Thule Rack System with key locks (for skis or a variety of Thule accessories, etc.); Thule SideKick, Enclosed Carrier with key locks; total Thule System (above) was approximately a $500.00 addition to add at the time it was installed. Tinted Windows (all except windshield, of course; looks like it was installed at dealer before initial delivery); Toyota estimates this to be a $225.00 installation; ABS Breaks (per Toyota inspection); Power Windows; Power Locks; Rear Defroster;Power side mirrors; Some other options / aspects of this vehicle's specifications are as follow: Air Conditioning; Rear Luggage Screen; New Spare Tire (never used, as far as I can tell); Original Toyota Manual(s) Available; SRS Air Bag System for driver and front passenger; Original Floor Mats; The NADA Blue Book estimates this vehicle, apart from all the options and accessories listed, to be valued at $11,494.00 for zip code 80112; when the new tires and the accessories alone are added (not counting the other options), this would bring the price to $13,891.00. [NOTE: as of 4/14/12 the NADA blue book value has INCREASED to over $12K. This is not a "trade-in".] However, the asking price is only $10,325.00. The vehicle is as is: No accessories or options will be removed to effect a lower price, though the price is slightly negotiable. Low-ball car-flippers or other low-ball offers need not inquire: this is not a desperation sale, and it is a very nice car. Serious inquiries only. To minimize fraud, theft, or other risks, all appointments to see the vehicle will be in the day-time and in a public place. Test drives (and VIN disclosure) allowed only after a valid license and insurance card is presented by a prospective buyer, and is verified and photocopied (or photographed via phone). No test drives without the owner in the vehicle. CarFax available to serious parties who are in earnest (per above, re. VIN). Terms: Cashiers-check in full from a major or well known local bank (e.g. Bank of America, Chase Bank, Bank of the West, Wells Fargo, etc.). If a local transaction, it is to take place at major bank of buyer's choosing, at a branch convenient to buyer and seller. Long distance transactions to take place via transfer and verification of funds prior to car and title shipment. Title will be sent certified mail or FedEx, as the buyer desires. Transport of vehicle to buyer's location is buyer's sole responsibility: seller will not ship, but will be happy to meet transport trucking companies to facilitate transport. Sale is final.
