This is a 1995 GEO METRO that has been professionally converted to electric power. I do not know this products, and your best source for info will be the internet.. as I have done. From my research.. This has a kit.. not a homemade, golf cart put together. The motor is made made by D & D m/n ES-15A and sells for $800 by it's self. It is 9hp at 72v, 65ft/lb of torque, 25 hp peak.The entire kit looks to retail for over 4k or more, I think. The kit is not very old, and appears in great shape. If you want just the kit, you are welcome to come here and remove it. I know a guy who will take the car and scrap it, for free. I will not do the removing of the kit, myself. There are 8 Energizer Egc8 8 volt batteries in brackets and wired in.4 in the front and 4 in the rear. There is a 72v charger that appears to work, and float charger, I don;t know about. The Plug for the car is at the fuel tank filler. There has been a Volt and amp gauge added to the dash board. I purchased this car at a lien sale ( like storage wars ) . There was no water in the batteries. So I added some distilled water to all of the 8 batteries. I charged them for about 5 hours. The batteries did not take a charge. The car did not move when turning the key and stepping on the gas. I am not going to spend $500 on batteries to find out if the car works. So you are buying this car as a parts or repair car. As Is.I had a key made. It works in the ignition and the hatch. It does not work the door locks. Tires are in great shape. E brake and reg brakes work fine.Steering feels tight. from pushing on/off my trailer... and looking.. the car seems to be in great shape. The paperwork is lien paperwork. Open. In no ones name. I have a company that will do the paperwork , and submit it to Nevada DMV for $100. The fee includes the Dmv Title fee. However, I do no guarantee the paperwork is correct or if you will get a title. The Storage companies mess paperwork up all the time. The title company will work with you to get it right. If this happens. I believe you also need to take the car to Nevada DMV for a vin inspection, but am not sure about this. It is advise to contact your local DMV and find out what is involved. I am selling this as parts ... though will provide you everything I have and know. My opinion is that this car has been sitting in a storage unit for a very long time. The batteries are bad. But I think there is a very good chance that if batteries where installed, this car will drive. OR-- remove the EV electric Vehicle kit, and install it in something else. The car is easily rolled onto any trailer with 2 men. And I have a forklift here if needed. You are welcome to come preview the car , here is Las Vegas, 89011.
