This is a 1976 Oldsmobile Toronado that is in extremely good original condition. I have always loved the second generation Toronado's and purchased this one from the original owner in 1992. It has not seen rain or snow since. I have driven it about 12,000 miles in the past twenty years with several trips between Michigan and Pennsylvania during that time. As far as condition, please look at the photo's and feel free to call me to discuss. In my opinion, the body is very good with no dings, dents or scratches and is equivalent to a 2-3 year old car. There are some stone chip marks on the hood and the rear fender extensions have some cracks in them. This is typical of these cars and reproduction extensions are available. There is no rust or filler in the body. The original spare tire has never been used and is included along with a modern tire that I actually carry as the spare. Mechanically, the car is highly dependable with no issues. I generally drive it in the fall and try to burn a tank of gas through it a year. It is not uncommon for me to go for a couple hundred mile trip into the mountains and it always comes home without incident. The A/C blows cold and is still R-12 (I will include several cans for your qualified mechanic to use as necessary). The compressor clutch does slip at higher speeds so I keep it disconnected to avoid burning it up. The radio antenna does not raise, but the radio works. Exhaust is like new and the car has been Pennsylvania inspected within the last 2000 miles (no longer requires inspection with antique plates). Tires are Michelin and have great tread, but are 20 years old. The interior is excellent with the exception of a 1/2 inch crack in the drivers armrest at the rear of the window/lock controls. The driver seat is power, passenger is manual. It is equipped with a 455 ci Olds Rocket V-8 which has no trouble moving its 4700 lbs. My reason for offering it for sale is that I just don't use it enough to justify continued ownership. I will include the original sale paperwork from 1976, owners, service and parts manuals.
