This auction is for a 1990 Thunderbird Super Coupe which has the 3.8 supercharged motor and automatic transmission. The body isn’t to bad but the car is pretty rough on the inside. The motor runs but has lots of spark knock on acceleration. The transmission seems to be in good condition but I only drove once a short distance so from the one short drive all I can say it didn’t slip and seemed to shift good. I bought the car as a possible fixer-upper but it’s more work than I want to tackle. The previous owner removed the brake master cylinder which is now in the trunk so there are no brakes except for the emergency brakes. The previous owner also took the inside door latches apart and removed the stereo. The car does have the original alloy wheels, a sun roof and the factory rear deck spoiler. These cars are somewhat rare and there is actually a T-Bird Super Coupe registry so it is probably well worth fixing. Hopefully someone is up to the task because if it don’t sell it goes to the scrap yard. The car does have a clear title but because of the lack of brakes it cannot be driven and will have to be transported.
