I bought this truck for my son 6 months ago thinking it would be a great work truck for him. Long story short...... it's not big enough for a wife and kids. Things change, but that's your gain. I can't be certain what the salvage title is about, but from what I understand the vehicle was stolen and recovered. We've done extensive service on the vehicle and the frame is straight, no pieces welded together, the body and panels are all straight so the stolen/recovered story made sense to me. I've been getting over 20 MPG combined driving so this is a gas saver. Since we thought we'd be using it, the service done includes full tune up (plugs, wires, coil pack), filters (air, oil and fuel), we had it aligned and balanced. It's been detailed and I had the headliner replaced (while that was out we heat insulated the roof). The stereo didn't work so it's got a new JVC, CD, HD Radio with Aux input for your ipod. The AC works great and it has power windows. The tires (as you can see from one of the photos) have lots of rubber left on them. We did the brakes. I just had it smogged a couple weeks ago, so if you buy this soon, the smog will be valid for the transfer of tile and the tags are good for another year. If you can get over the salvage title thing, this will be a great truck for you and save you lots of money. I simply don't need two trucks so this ones got to go.
