2001 Dodge 2500 4x4 regular cab w/ 8' box ...ONLY 55,000 miles !!! 5.9L V-8 turns over, but won't start, has not been started in over a year. Probably needs a tune up and some body work to make it a good work truck again 4 wheel drive works and Automatic tranny shifts like it should. On Apr-09-12 at 05:41:54 PDT, seller added the following information: The engine held good oil pressure as far as I know and did not burn oil. I think the engine is getting fuel as I can smell fuel near the intake when it is turned over. I suspect that the engine has an electrical issue with maybe computer, distributor, wires, cap or rotor. Spark plugs are brand new with 0 miles. It was running rough when it was taken out of service, but now doesn't seem to fire. I have not specifically looked for leaks, but have not noticed anything on the ground. Front end is tight to my knowledge. The truck was used on the grounds of a private school for general property maintenance including snow plowing, salting roads and parking lots and hauling fire wood. The body is beat up mostly from hauling firewood. The salt did some body damage to driver side rocker and left front fender, etc. The driver side of the bench seat has some fabric and foam damage, but rest of seat is ok. I believe it has a/c, but not sure if it works. Hood latch works, passenger door works fine, driver door drops when opened, shuts a little hard and probably needs hinge pins. I think all of the gauges work. I will cooperate with and coordinate timing with your shipper, but shipping is full expense of buyer. I will try to find out about whether it has a/c.
