This auction if for a 1997 Ford F-150 XLT Regular Cab, 4x4 short bed with 153170 miles. This truck as you can see from the pictures is in excellent condition for the age and miles. It was locally owned and traded in by a private party at our dealership. The previous owner is an ASE and Ford Certified Master Technician, so you can be assured that all maintenance is up to date!!! Overall mechanically the truck is great. Engine is in perfect working order, transmission shifts through fine and there are no known leaks. Cosmetically it is in great condition as well with only minor imperfections which are consistent with the age of the vehicle. The clearcoat is peeling on the left front fender flare as you can see in the photos. There are also so some spots on the front under the hood where paint has come off. You can see that in the photos as well (not to mention a bug shield would probably mask it fairly well). On the interior there is a small tear on the side of the drivers seat which is consistent with the age, and the hood release is not currently functional because the cable needs to be reconnected (The previous owner did not bother fixing that because he was trading it in when it came loose). As you can see the tires are in great shape having been recently replaced, and the brakes feel good as well.
