This is a very original 1967 Mustang Coupe. C Code, 289 3 Speed Floorshift car with Center Console! This is a very original car. It was originally green, but has been painted off white over the original color. It appears to have a 100% original drivetrain, and the engine still has the tag bolted to the intake manifold. The only addition I can see is the dual exhaust..I dont believe a 289 2 Barrel came with dual exhaust. It has a Grant steering wheel in place of the original as well.This is a California car with the original black plates, and appears to have only minor surface rust where there are paint chips, and some rust bubbles are appearing behind the rear wheel opening and above the taillights. I will post more pics once the trunk key is done. All the gauges, turn signals etc are in good shape and work well. It fires right up, doesnt smoke, and drives fine. I dont have pictures of inside the trunk, so I took some from the bottom up, as I am in the process of getting a key made from the glovebox latch. The interior is in good shape, as you can see from the pictures. I have installed new plug wires, rebuilt the carburetor, and installed a new fuel pump. The body looks to be in excellent condition, with only minor dents and dings.The odometer shows 30,000 miles, I imagine it has rolled over at least once. I acquired it from a foreclosure sale, where the elderly gentleman that owned it had passed away. It had been stored for a long time, as it was last registered in 2006. It will be sold with a clear executed lien sale package, that will enable you to walk in to any DMV and procure a title easily. Got the trunk key from the locksmith today, As promised, I have added a few more pictures of the trunk and the small rust spots above the rear taillights and the bottom edge of the deck lid.. The trunk looks as good on the inside as it does from underneath, with only surface rust in a couple spots. I also have received some questions about whether the car has power steering, and it does not. I must add, this is a 40+ year old car that is being sold as is where is, that I am trying to represent as well as possible. I highly recommend if possible that you come check it out for yourself!
