HIGHLY OPTIONED, ORIGINAL paint/interior, 1971 Demon 340. I've owned this car since the early '90's, so I am NOT the "original owner," but I do have some history relating to it's two previous owners. Originally purchased in Georgia. All numbers match, EXCEPT for the transmission. Demon left the factory with 727 Torqueflite automatic/Rally console interior package. Changed over to A-833 sometime in the mid to late '80's. Tranny is smooth shifting, and with original 8 3/4 3.23 sure-grip, the car cruises nicely at 70 mph. Not afraid to drive it anywhere, just get in and go! To the best of my knowledge, the engine has never been disassembled, and retains it's original bore. Factory exhaust manifolds intact, with only non-NOS parts being the intake manifold/carb. Factory air cleaner is there, and in very nice condition. Car originally had air conditioning, but the compressor and related under-hood items are long-gone. All glass and chrome are exceptional. NO RUST frame, trunk area, and floor pans. Minor bubbling, driver's side lower rear quarter and one other spot on hood lip, size of a dime, behind stainless trim, hard to see if you aren't looking. Car looks nice at 20 feet, but if I keep it, a complete restoration in in-store. This is a GREAT Demon, with an even GREATER color combination/options package. BUILD SHEET INCLUDED! I hate to see it go... May consider Yellow or Orange 1977 L-82 4-spd Corvette in partial trade.
