1964 Mercury Comet AWB Gasser/Street Funny Car from the 60's, style. This car is really the best looking Comet I've ever seen and own. It was built like the 60's style funny cars back in the day. Motor is a 351W with a mild cam, very streetable, C4 trans. Rear axle was moved forward 14" and the rear fender wells were cut out and 57 chevy fender wells were installed. Gives it that tear drop look. Bitch'in.. Front frame and axle also was moved forward 14" and the front clip was worked to give it that stock look. As you can see you almost drive it from the back seat area. Drives like a dream, No problems what so ever. Everything on this car is either new or built. People are shocked when they see this car, totally radical. You can uncork the headers at rod runs, sounds great. I'm selling it to buy a 67 chevy II. Also the Dodge Coronet Gasser in the photo's is also for sale, The dodge is straight as and arrow. Drives great also, it's my everyday driver now. Love them both but one has to go or both.
