1957 Ford F-100 Styleside Pickup truck. This is an original, number matching, 272 V8, with a "three on the tree" standard transmission. This truck runs very good. It drives straight and stops as it should. It shifts smoothly through all the gears and the clutch is good. It has just had a tune up with new spark plugs, oil change, and a new oil filter. Please look closely at the photos. I have taken numerous photos that show both sides, and the front and back of the truck. The doors open and close properly and align very good. The truck is currently licensed and insured. The bed is straight and has almost no rust. I removed the bed liner to take the photos on all four corners of the bed. The radiator does not even have a fan scrape and has fresh antifreeze. The interior paint is factory original. All of the gauges work and the emergency brake works properly. The original factory paint is black - inside and out. The truck is 56 years old and is in remarkable condition for such an original old truck. I have a clear, clean, Utah title in my name. I want to outline the negative aspects of the truck so that the new owner will know exactly what they are getting. There is minor floor rust on both sides of the cab. It has been corrected by simply riveting sheet metal in place. Please look closely at the photos that show this problem. In addition, the dog-legs that attach to the front frame rail are rusty. The frame is solid and so are the floors with the exception as mentioned above. The truck runs very good, but is running off of an a separate gas tank. The original gas tank is in place, but needs a good cleaning. The seats have after market seat covers which cover the original seats. The original material has some cracks and needs attention. The tires have good tread, but are old. A $500.00 PayPal deposit is required within 48 hours after the close of the auction.
