For Sale 1994 Subaru Sambar Van 4X4 All Wheel Off ATV Kei Monster Truck This is a Subaru right hand drive van that I personally imported from Japan myself. An experience I will never repeat again. Too many hassles from the people in the sale of, shipping, import authority, and so on ($600 in import fees and over $900 in shipping) I guess that is why you never see these in this country. You will see these vehicles in Canada at over $9,500 used. I do not know what their license requirements are but I believe that they do drive them there on their streets. Look up Subaru Sambar on the Internet and you will find Canadian dealers offering these vans. I purchased this van while in Nevada. While other people were buying open topped 2 place 4-wheeled vehicles to drive in the desert. Being of a lazy sort and being used to the comforts of a normal vehicle I wanted something different with more room, comfort, climate control, more storage, and this is what I came up with. This vehicle has a six speed manual transmission (great grandmother low) with full time four wheel drive, air conditioning, power steering, AM/FM, windshield wipers both front and rear, turn signals, folding rear seats, nice interior, and is an absolute hoot to drive. It has a sunroof over the driver and passenger and a powered opening glass roof over the passenger compartment. I have had this thing up to over 135 KPH or 85 MPH. Not a pleasant experience as this is a very small and light vehicle but it will do it. Sort of like flying a Klingon Bird of Prey at warp 9+. Anyway I digress; the van has a mighty 1 liter 4 cylinder engine with fuel injection, and yes a factory SUPERCHARGER! Mad Max has nothing on this vehicle. The vehicle is extremely quiet and smooth but if you listen real close you can barely make out the unmistakable high pitched whine of the supercharger. Way too cool! I put 4X100 X 4X114.3 wheel adapters on the van so you can use an assortment of different wheel and tire combinations on the vehicle. It has 98% Michelins on it now with Honda 4X114.3 X12 wheels (wheel hubs are 4X100) but will also accept VW wheels or even Subaru if you really want to go crazy. The van has a few dents and scratches but is still very presentable. Has been serviced to engine including plug wires, spark plugs, cap, oil, and filter change. A/C needs charged but I will provide freon (easy fix). It is ready to do battle! This would be a terrific ATV support vehicle to carry supplies for a bunch of off road items. I will provide a bill of sale. Again, please do not ask about how to license this vehicle in your state or if you can as I will not have a clue. My wife will agree that I am clueless. Please do not bid unless you truly want to own what will probably be the only vehicle like this on your block. I might be able to deliver if close or feasible but shipping will require a transport of some type or pickup with a trailer.(about 4’ wide and 10’ long, kind of looks like a big toaster) I do not believe FedEx or UPS has a box large enough for this thing. Anyway I would like to get this vehicle out my shed and into someone else’s shed so please bid frequently and excessively.
