Vehicle Detail
1987 Shelby Charger GLHS Included is all documentation; window sticker, original sales order, odometer statement, owners manual, service notification card, change of owner card, color Shelby brochure, quality control Belvidere assembly sheet, warranty booklet and tire card. The car is functioning 100%, as far as I can ascertain. There are no mechanical issues, to the best of my knowledge, and the interior is spotless. All fluids have been exchanged. This car was repainted by its original owner for reasons unknown to me. The paint is the only let down as there is a small scratch on the drivers fender, door & hood; the finish is shiny but imperfect. The floors are solid and free from rust as it appears that the dealer undercoated the car when new. Included in the sale is a complete set of NOS GLHS decals. I have replaced the windshield with an NOS Mopar windshield. The original Koni struts and shocks are included in a box and they need to be rebuilt. The car has a new Pioneer CD/Mp3 head unit and new poineer speakers installed. No wires were cut to install the stereo and the original is included. Additionally, I have replaced the carpet, headliner, floor mats and sun visors with new. As you can see from the pictures, the car is very clean inside and under the hood, but it is a 25 year old car and has its blemishes. Please be realistic in your expectations. This car was sold new at Warnock Dodge in Morris Plains NJ and used as a daily driver by its original owner until I purchased it in 1995. I have owned this car for 17 years and it has sat unused inside my garage, until this year. In an effort to make the car ready to drive I have replaced the following parts: Fuel System; tank, pump, strainer, filler neck, filter, all rubber hoses, all clamps, power module, MP logic module, MAP sensor, O2 sensor, vacuum solenoid pack, PCV and hose Ignition System; coil, cap, rotor, distributor o-ring, spark plugs, high tension wires, capacitor, starter relay Cooling system; coolant pump, belt, thermostat, upper and lower radiator hoses, coolant supply hose to turbo, expansion tank, fan relay, radiator flushed and pressure tested Power Steering system; pump, belt, return lines, tie rod ends, system flushed Suspension; struts front & rear with Sachs Super touring, strut mounts, springs refinished, ball joints, control arm bushings, strut rod bushings, anti sway bar bushings, tie rod ends, bearings, hub nuts, grease caps, new BF Goodrich ultra high performance tires, wheels professionally refinished Brake system; rotors, pads, shoes, all rear hardware, wheel cylinders, all hoses, calipers rebuilt, all parking brake cables, all fluid exchanged HVAC; A/C compressor & clutch, belt, tensioners, suction & discharge lines, condenser, receiver/dryer, expansion valve, evaporator cleaned, clutch relay, recharged with proper mineral oil and R-12 refrigerant, heater core, heater valve, heater hoses, blower motor, heater box removed cleaned and resealed. Engine; oil pan removed cleaned and resealed, cam cover gasket, intermediate shaft seal, cam seals, crank seals, timing belt and tensioner, all motor mounts Transaxle; both original axles removed and completely rebuilt, extension housing seal, axle shaft seals, shift rods replaced with NOS, oil drained and replaced, clutch replaced by original owner and has approx 5k miles, the gearbox was rebuilt at Wayne Transmission by the original owner when the clutch was replaced (documentation is inculded) Charging system; alternator, belt, battery Exhaust; NOS muffler and axle pipe, remaining exhaust is original and sound This car is currently registered, inspected and insured in NJ. Car must be paid for and picked up within 7 days of auction close unless othewise argeed to by seller. On Mar-26-12 at 17:37:28 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added a picture of the original Konis and the NOS decal set that is inculded with the car. The Konis need to be rebuilt. On Mar-26-12 at 17:41:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I have also installed NOS window sweeps on both doors.
