This car was garaged and is a non-smoker vehicle. We bought it because we needed an extremely dependable car to commute in the carpool lane. This Honda has served us proudly. I looked for a used Honda NGV for months before buying this one. I purchased it within hours of finding it. It is clean and runs smooth. I did not spend more than 45 minutes with a hose and a sponge on this car before these pictures were taken. This is the cleanest engine of a CNG vehicle I have seen. THIS HONDA RUNS ON NATURAL GAS (CNG) ONLY. The filters on the CNG tank require normal maintenance - but otherwise runs like a gas vehicle. This Honda averages 30 to 36 mpg. We bought this vehicle to use the carpool lane. Jobs changed and we the commute is now local and we no longer need a third vehicle. I purchased this vehicle in AZ. It was a "clean one owner". The original owner was meticulous and it was garaged and well maintained. It has been trouble free since purchase. This NGV has California white CARPOOL lane stickers. I understand the right to use the carpool lane is transferrable. After purchasing, I took it and had everything checked out. I invested in new shocks, tuneup, alignment and any other recommended maintenane/upgrades of @$1800. The Civic runs like a top. It just topped 150K, but IMHO it has a lot of miles left in its life. A Civic is a simple car and easy to maintain - repairs are fairly inexpensive. The NGV drives likes a normal Civic. If you are located in Utah - CNG is very cheap. There is a series of CNG stations between CA and UT. I can assist in the drive for delivery purposes to Utah or Vegas or N. Cal.. This Honda is in great condition and runs like a top. I do not hear any noise from the engine other than it running smoothly. The exhaust is clean and the transmission is in good condition. The Civic accelerates to highway speed w/o any problems. The body (as you can tell from looking at the photos) is excellent. It has been in AZ and southern CA and has no rust. Other than a minimist spot here or there, the paint is just fine. The car has had no problems in operation; or in filling up with natural gas. In 1991, the Honda NGV was voted the cleanest engine. Please investigate the CNG in your area. It is generally very inexpensive compared to gasoline. For more info on CNG cars - check other listings. I used someone's description and they objected - oh well. This has been a great car for us, and I hope it will be for the next owner as well.
