This classic 65 Mustang up for auction is in very nice shape inside and out . It feathers a A code 289 - 4V engine and 4 speed, power top, GT package and Style Steel wheels. The paint shows good as the pictures show....At time of repaint the following was replaced (Ft & Rear bumpers, window felts, trunk & door rubbers)....I'll let the pictures speak for themselves as the body is in great shape .....Engine compartment is nicely detailed ..... The interior is in great shape and the undercarriage is solid with no rust issues..... The POWER CONVERTIBLE TOP & rear window are new and works good in both directions....... All 4 windows go up and down as they should..... All interior guages show to be in working order as well as lights, blinkers, wipers, horn, radio, heater, etc......The 289 engine starts right up and runs good and strong...... A true blast to drive..... Can use as a daily driver or local show car ...... This mustang runs and drives very good...... This vehicle has a " special order vehicle " DSO designation which meant some thing unusual or option was ordered when the sale order was sent in to Dearborn to be built. - although the vin number says it should have been scheduled to be built it late January - its actual scheduled build date was February 28, 1965. When I purchased it it had all the GT equipment A code 289 - 4V motor, 4 piston Kelsey Hayes disc brakes, dual exhaust with rear trumpets and bumper guard delete, heavy duty sway bar, quick ratio steering box, 5-dial gauge cluster, Fog lights, Rear quarter panel ornaments are deleted and the side molding stripes with MUSTANG letters and GT Badges.
