Vehicle Detail

For the 46 bidders on this vehicle as of 3/18/12 Ebay killed the auction because they claimed I was trying to sell parts offline. I was not. The ending of that auction was out of my control. I have re-listed the auction starting at the last highest bid point. If one of the interested bidders would place another bid we can keep moving on from there. Car's in need of restoration. Not running. Full drive train. Partially-decomposed (windshield, seats, front grille, front left fender, some engine components removed and in boxes, etc.) . Have most parts including top frame, seats, and seat covers not shown in photos. Sold "as is" without implied or expressed warranty. Final sale. No returns. Buyer picks up and pays for auto transporter. Remember - It's EBAY, not FREEBAY. Bid accordingly. Thank you. On Mar-24-12 at 20:32:18 PDT, seller added the following information: Just a friendly reminder to viewers of this item: An MGB this straight, needing restoration, with full drive train is worth AT LEAST $3,700 parted out. I know. I know. You can buy a "running 1970s" something MGB for $4,500 - BUT you still have to do all the same things to it you'll need to do to this classic '68. So, if you're not "bidding in the ballgame" you're wasting your time. Just trying to be clear and informative. Did you know if I disassembled the engine, and presented "just the short block" I could get at least $500? No pistons, not crankshaft.. just the engine short block. So, to think you can acquire the fenders, engine, tranny, front end, windows, etc. for less than $2,500 - $3500 is "hoping for a miracle". I'll rotisserie restore the car before I'll hand you thousands in parts. Remember, this is Ebay - not "Freebay". The 1968 is worth at least $2,500 - sorry if you can't afford it. Maybe some day. Now get off your mom's computer!
