Let me start of by saying that I'm selling this for a friend of mine. I will be handling all questions at this time so please ask if you have any. He purchased this car in 1998 from a dealership and the car was restored in its original Rare Tahoe Turquoise . The color was changed to Red in 2006 because that's the color he wanted. He stored the car every winter and in the spring,when it was time to bring it out, it was serviced by a mechanic every year. He put 30,000 miles on the car since he owned it and enjoyed every mile he put on it, but its time to let the car go to a new owner. CLEAR TITLE 2 OWNER CAR EVERYTHING WORKS(Pass inspection every year) EXTERIOR: The car had a repaint in 2006, the paint still holds a nice shine, some chips but nothing major, real nice driver quality paint, all the doors,fenders,hood, and quarters have no rust and in real nice condition INTERIOR: The interior was restored when the car was restored, everything stills looks excellent, no rips that i noticied ENGINE: The engine bay looks nice but does show some signs of been driven, some light oil on the motor(i nice spray down will probably wash it away). He hasnt taken the car to the mechanic this year yet, the motor runs good but it needs it yearly tune-up. TRUNK: Trunk area looks excellent UNDERNEATH: the underneath looks excellent, they did put a thick coat on the car but still looks good, for what i seen there is a small hole in the torq box(passenger side look at picture) the rest is solid i would just put a metal patch in there and thats all you would need to do, all frame rails and floor pans look real nice. TOP: Looks excellent, no rips and feels real nice YES YOU CAN BUY THIS CAR AND DRIVE IT HOME!!! MY OVERALL TAKE: This is an excellent driver, no rust issue except that area that i seen, car would need a tune-up, runs good(has a small skip when at idle) but i can tell a tune-up will make it run excellent, when your driving it, it runs real nice. This is a turn key car and nothing has to be done to it if you dont want to, i just want to be honest, i dont have to sell the car because the car will sell itself,Its a classic first generation 1966 mustang convertible. The car has power steering, manual brakes and top. This car is sold as is with no warranty, there is a non-refundable deposit of 500 with-in 24hrs-no exception- and the rest with-in 7days-no exception.
