Vehicle Detail

I bought this car 4 years ago from a good friend who was moving out of state. He garaged it and maintained it meticulously, and I have done the same and more for it. We both used the same mechanic (Rennwerke in Elmsford, NY); Cheech is the owner there and he knows this car well, and knows how it has been taken care of. I have all of the records for everything done since I have owned it. The previous owner replaced the cam belt and tensioner. I have done the following: replaced transaxle pinion bearing and clutch, M030 front and rear sway bars (same as the Club Sport 968), Koni front and rear shocks, RS Barn ceramic header & catalytic converter, stage 2 software (raises rev limit), enlarged throttle body, M030 front calipers and pads/Turbo Cup ABS regulator, front braided brake lines, aluminum strut brace, stock airbox modifications & Ultimate aluminum clutch, brake, & gas pedals with anti-slip inserts . The rims you see in the pictures are aftermarket 17x7.5 in front, 17x9 in the rear. I replaced the tires this past September with Hankook Ventus V12 Evo's. I doubt I have put more than 2K on these tires. The majority of the items above made the car sharper, more precise, & more fun to drive (it was already quite good), but I opted against anything that would negatively affect dependability. I also opted against replacing the entire exhaust system, as I wanted a bit more sound but not so much that it would become tedious during long drives (the factory exhaust is annoyingly quiet). In addition, I have also changed the oil religiously, replaced the starter, power steering pump, battery, ignition coil, wires, plugs, heater valve, and flushed the brake system. I also replaced the original speakers with Kenwoods in front and Infinity's in rear, Blaupunkt amp, Kenwood subwoofer, and Kenwood CD/MP3 player with hands-free Bluetooth. Tan leather interior is in very good shape, as the pictures show. Everything in the car works, with the exception of the little analog clock in the console, the digital temp display in the dash, and rear wiper motor; all are relatively simple to fix, but I chose upgrades instead. Climate control is perfect, and the AC blows nice and cold. The driver's door has a dent received in a parking lot (hard to see in pictures), and there are a few dings and blemishes typical for a car of its age. I had the front bumper repainted recently, so it has no road rash. Overall the car looks very good, as is evident from the pictures. The engine runs well, and the transmission shifts smoothly. This 968 drives beautifully, and is confident on the road at any speed. She will be missed... :( On Mar-19-12 at 03:49:47 PDT, seller added the following information: 3/19/2012 - I forgot to mention that this car has not been smoked in.
