Vehicle Detail
1968 Plymouth Road Runner383 4bbl 727 torque flite auto 8 3/4" super grip rear (posi)This car was hiding behind a garage since the 1980's..I just found out about it a month ago. A husband and wife were moving out of their house and needed to remove it. The husband really didn't want it to go He had the car since 1970 when he purchased it from his uncle. Finally i was able to acquire it from them. I'ts an original #'s matching car with 31,449 miles on it. Now it apparently had been sitting with the trunk slighty opened for years Water got into it and ruined the trunk and quarter panels Just rotten...(You'll see in pics)It's also gonna need floor boards, seats reupholstered, and headliner. the dash is fine just the top padding is cracked, has orignal radio and ashtray. Also has optional headrests. The outside from the quarters forward just has some surface rust and holes(see pics). All the windows are there except the driver side rear pop out window.. The window trim/moldings are in great shape...the hood and trunk are good...the roof solid...the front grill and headlights look great...the front bumper needs refinishing..the rear bumper has a dent in it..The doors are good, some rust spots.. and passenger door has a dent ..very fixable. the engine bay looks great...the unibody is solid up until the trunk(see pics)...Haven't tried to start it engine.... looks good was running when it was parked...This woud be a great project restoration... It has the fender tag and I just took the the BROADCAST sheet from under the back seat ...Have the orginal 1970 title..Mopar people love paper work...I should know I am one.... I very much would love to BRING this car back to life...But ihave 2 cars in the garage now... An all original 1970 Challenger T/A 340 six pak 4 speed and im currently working on my 1967 Barracuda convertible My wife does not want another car out there now....THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION383 4bbl automatic8 3/4 super grip rear (posi)Fender tag Any questions call Rich @ 973-668-6945Beep-Beep hornBroadcast sheet will deliver the car up to 200 miles from Dover NJ ...for a reasonable feeTitle On Mar-15-12 at 05:39:38 PDT, seller added the following information: ALL CHROME WINDOW TRIM AND GRILL ARE PERFECT WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SOME BLACK PAINT WORN OFF GRILL BUT NO DENTS OR PITTING ! ! !
