3 Day Listing...For Sale: 1971 Honda CT70 Gold Color in "decent condition". I bought this thinking I would restore but ran out of time. I am NOT a motorcycle mechanic nor do I have any experience working on them SO CONSIDER THE SOURCE- I will try to describe to the best of my ability. I DO have perfect feedback on over 600 transactions and have worked very hard to maintain that by accurate descriptions. Soooooo..... The bike is surprisinly dependable to start. The key was lost and it hadn't been started in over 5 years. The previous owner had pulled the plug and lubricated the cylinder prior to storage. I unplugged the ignition from the wiring harness and it literally started the 3rd kick. It basically starts the first kick now everytime. I have only ridden it twice. Other descriptions for your consideration.Rear Tire like new, front one good.Mild rust on frame and wheels, very light pitting on chrome throughoutFront brake linkage in-tact but won't stop the bike (shoes?)3 speed auto trans operable.Right handlebar slightly bent.Ignition is disconnected- New Key purchased and being shipped. (not guarateed)Battery not tested but has liquid in it.This thing does not leak a drop of anything!I just puchased a brand new complete seat $100Title has been lost by prior owner - Bill of Sale only The mileage may or may NOT be very accurate. The speedo worked when I got it and when I rode it last week it didn't work so I don't know if it only worked part time by previous owner. He owned it for 25 years and said mileage was accurate. I can't ship this unless you just want me to drop it off somewhere within 25 miles or so for shipping or delivery. Bottom line here is: I've only owned it a short time and ridden it twice. Hopefully I'll get what I have into it! I would require $100 deposit thru PayPal within 12 hours of Auction end and the balance due at pick-up or departure within 7 days unless other arrangements are made prior to sale.
