Vehicle Detail
This Allante looks great. The Bose Radio works great. The receiver, amp, door speakers, and CD player were replaced with original equipment components last spring. Since I no longer use cassette tapes I did not replace the non functional cassette player. The battery is new and was just replaced last month. You should know all about this car before you place your first bid. So I am going to give you the details of all the known problems and the great points. The following are the details of the known problems: The engine idles rough until it is completely warmed up, the brake light comes on sometimes after the car is running. The car has not had braking issues. This could be as simple as air in a brake line or the Bosch system may need some component replacement. The passenger side seat belt does not retract properly. The tires have lots of tread but should be replaced due to age. The driver side backup light is out. The mirrors on the visors will not open properly. There is a spot on the driver side rear bumper where the paint is chipped off. The driver side door paint is slightly off from the rest of the color. It is slightly noticeable from certain angles. As stated there are a few issues that need to be addressed. If you enjoy cars these things are relatively easy to repair. Now the good things about the car. The engine runs strong after it is warmed up and will push you back in the comfortable leather seats. your passenger will be smiling as you push down on the pedal. The top is in great shape. It is not the original top but is a very good replacement. The car is fun to drive. It has plenty of power and rides great. The underside of the car looks good and clean as well as the body of the car. I bought the car in spring of 2010 and have kept it parked in my garage most of the time. I believe the mileage is correct but the title says exempt for the odometer reading. The engine is so clean and the seats are in good shape which leads me to believe the mileage is correct. The stereo system sounds great. Put a CD in the player and turn it up for your ride with the top down. This car has about every option that you can think of especially for a car built in 1991. This car is Cadillac and Italian quality. It is now 21 years old and will continue to gain value as it becomes a collector car. This one has a fantastic body and runs strong. It will make a nice addtion to your collection. I lost interest in working on cars and plan to devote my time to other interests. My loss will be your gain. You should take advantage of this opportunity. My reserve price is reasonable for a car in this good of condition. I will not share my reserve price publicly but you can be assured it is less than book price for this classic. If you are the succesful buyer you will be responsible for all shipping and handling costs. I live one hour from Orlando International airport and can help arrange to pick you up from the airport if you decide to drive the car home. I look forward hearing from you.
