Offered here is a beautiful black-on-black 1982 911sc coupe, 5 speed manual shift. The paint is in excellent condition and shines deeply. The entire car was repainted by a previous owner and I've been careful to touch up stone nicks right after they've occurred. Also, I spent over $3300 (have receipt) to have the outside of the car “freshened up” in the fall of 2008. I've put additional money into this car, but I can't find the other receipts. All weather stripping has been replaced and the rubber pieces are new throughout. The wheels are in almost perfect condition without nicks or scrapes and tires well treaded. A previous owner replaced the windshield, upgraded the headlights to Bosch Euros and spent over $2500 (have receipts) in engine tuning/adjusting in 2005. This included a full compression and leak down test (with no issues) and a full valve adjustment. They also rebuilt the transmission (appox. 5K miles back from current mileage) and installed new brakes (approx. 3.5K miles back). The heater, interior lights, exterior lights, dash lights/gauges, signals, headlight washers, electric windows and locks are all in working order. The original manuals are included and in excellent shape. The car is a definite head-turner and the new air horn is sure to get their attention. I replaced it a couple years ago with an authentic factory one for this model. The entire interior of the car is wrapped in leather and is in good shape for a car of this vintage. I’ve honestly never seen so much leather in a car. A previous owner replaced the carpet with German original thread. I’m unsure of when, but it’s in excellent shape (car mats used and included). The carpet in the front boot is immaculate. The console, gauges and dash are in great shape as well. I replaced the original Blaupunkt Monterey radio (still have, works and will provide with vehicle) with a new Pioneer CD Receiver w/remote, new rear speakers and added a subwoofer. All of this new equipment has been installed under the original casings/covers (nothing cut or drilled) to preserve the interior. The audio system sounds incredible. The new Hirschmann Electric Antenna operates well. The car is in great shape for it's age, but it does have some minor blemishes as with any car of this age that has been driven. There is a small tear where the head liner has come loose in one corner of the sunroof (see photos). Unfortunately, the sunroof stopped working about a year ago. It tries to lower to go back, but gets caught. I’m unsure of what it will take to repair it. Even though the leather seats are in good shape, there is some wear particularly on the driver’s seat bolster (see photos). The driver’s side seatbelt has some wear as well. The A/C is not cold enough and I’m unsure if it’s typical or needs charged, but I’ve never checked into it. I can’t think of anything else. This car has been immaculately maintained and only driven on sunny days. It has been covered (custom cover included) and garaged since I’ve owned it. The engine starts immediately, even after sitting for long periods of time. The car is a blast to drive. It's fast and strong and is free of any leaks.
