Vehicle Detail
This is a 1946 Cheverolet Pickup ready to assemble the way you want it. It is all steel body and ready to be a nice Street Rod. I bought this about six years ago as a project truck that feel in line behind a few other vehicles. We disassmebled the truck and began collecting the pieces to make it into a nice street rod. Below is a list of all the things professionally done to the truck while dissasembled.Wire Master Fuse PanelECM wiring Harness for 89 Camaro350 TPI out of a 1992 Corvette700 R4 TransmissionHooker "Competition" HeardersMustang II custom front end from "Southern Rods" w disc BrakesFrame Mount Brake Booster Tilt Telescopic Steering from CadilacAluminum instrument clusterWeld Rims and new Tiresaluminum lowering kit (forget who manufactured)Vintage Air There are a lot of little odds and ends that have been done boxing the front frame in and so forth that is the things you want done but no one ever see's or appreciates. Buddy and doors are clean and in great shape the fenders are solid. They whole truck will need to be worked and primed to begin reassemly. The Motor and Transmission were in great running shape when removed from Vet. The Vet was totaled on a side rear impact. Motor and transmission unaffected. I also have the Vet computer and wiring harness, There is actually a few boxes of nick nacks I havent listed. This truck will make a great project. Most all of the heavy lifting has been done with a lot of really nice features. We just have way to much on the plate and to many projects in the que. It has been kept in a bay of the garage for the past six years and the space is at a premium now. I will answer any questions I can and have listed everything that I can think of. It has been a well taken care of project. It is being sold as is where is. I will help make arrangements for shipping in the lower 48 but buyer pays shipping. I require a non refundable $500 down payment with 48 hours (Paypal) and Paid in full in seven days or before shipping. This truck is available to be viewed between now and the close of auction. Several have inquired with the following questions so I will post the answers to everyone. Yes all the side and back glass is in good shape. At this point we are unable to locate the front glass but have the frame and it is an easy fix to have cut with the frame, I am not sure I belive it is a ford rear end but it was an upgraded rear end. Yes all four fenders are steel and are in real good shape they had been pecan blasted. two of them are already covered in filler but not sanded down yet hence the appearance difference. The bed is a stained piece of finished plywood. not a bed kit. The whole truck is steel and in great shape. I dont think you will find a better body than this one. They engine was running strong when removed from a vet that was wrecked it will need some tlc but sems to be in great shape mechanically same for the transmission. They have both sat for the past several years on the frame without being ran. I have no reserve because I decided to let the market dictate what the truck is worth. If you have ever done restorations you know I have way more time and money invested than I will ever get back out of it so I am letting it go to make room for other projects. Its just that simple there are no hidden secrets no scams what you see is what you get as you can see I buy ad sell a lot on ebay and will not risk that for a few hundred more dollars. Bid what its worth to you I am sure you will be satisfied.I have listed and pictured everything I can think of You are free to come and look or send someone. If you have any reservations I would encourage you not to bid. If you dont have the means to continue the build I would encourage you not to bid. This is a Project that if continued properly will be a show stopper. From my perspective the high bidder at the end of this auction just bought themselves a great truck with all the right pieces in place. So Happy bidding.
